Reptiles like turtles, snakes and lizard, seem most popular choice among terrarists. They are cold-blooded animals, which means that their activity depends on the ambient temperature. It is essential to take this into account when preparing their terrarium or aquaterrarium. To enjoy healthy animals or even achieve breeding success, it is necessary to look carefully at the needs of a specific species. And this must be done in terms of aquarium equipment and proper feeding. Mistakes in this field very often cause irreversible changes in the bodies of reptiles, contributing to deformities. Poorly fed reptiles are also more susceptible to various diseases and definitely live shorter lives.

Our experts will share their knowledge on how to prepare different types of terrariums (tropical, desert and steppe) or aquaterrarium for semi-aquatic turtles. You will learn about the different types of terrarium substrates and the technical equipment necessary to maintain the right temperature and humidity. You will learn how to properly feed reptiles and why it is so important supplement them with minerals and vitamins.
