Invertebrates make up a large group of animals commonly kept in terrariums and aquaterrariums. They include arachnids, insects, and crustaceans.  Aquatic crustacean species can sometimes be difficult to clearly classify as terrarium animals. Therefore, if you are interested in crustaceans, be sure to also explore the Crustaceans section in Freshwater Aquarium. Particularly fascinating species belong to the order Isopods (Isopoda). For some, they serve as an excellent clean-up crew, while for others, they are captivating animals worthy of a dedicated terrarium. We should also not forget about Triops, which have inhabited the Earth for 200 million years. The more familiar crustaceans, however, are crabs. Our experts will explain how to care for them, what their requirements are, and how to set up a terrarium or aquaterrarium for them. You will also learn what to feed them.
